I would recommend showing the coin when you fold the paper around then the spectator will be 100% sure that the coin is in there and also when you ditch the coin in your pocket bring something out of the same pocket like a pen so you can use it like a magic wand or something because when you put your hand into your pocket then people are gonna be thinking there might be something to do with the trick by doing that

I love your misdirection here. Your fast pace left me honestly thinking you never put your hands out of the frame/in the pocket during the performance. I thought you were ditching it behind the shirt. In this trick it’s quite possible, actually.

Very nice the only thing I would do different is, I would use a sheet of flash paper and ditch the coin as you go for the lighter. The lighter more than justifies you going to your pocket. Besides people love fire!

Oh, the step ladder joke was AWESOME! I love that kind of cheesy humor. Can I use that joke? Do I have permission to use it in public and private as I deem necessary?
I like to use flash paper with that one, go to the pocket to get the lighter to ditch the coin. I usually say it is a special paper that will clean coins, and just needs a little heat, and act as shocked as they are when it lights on fire and the coin is gone. Lots of variations, but great trick Jay Jay!!
Nice one Jay Jay. The appearing coin trick that is hidden in in the croch of the thumb and pointing finger is so cool and easy, and this one is just as good for a magician’s arsenal!!!

I think that good idea is to pull the lighter from your pocket and light the paper so it looks like you light the coin and also you have reason to put your hand to pocket.
