I’ve always wondered how the heck to top magicians cut a deck of cards with only one hand!
Today, Jay Jay let’s me in on the secret and shows me step-by-step how to do this very powerful sleight of hand move.
When you try it for the first few times, it WILL feel awkward. But as you keep on practicing, you’ll find that it becomes easier and easier.
And that’s the real trick with all powerful magic – practice, practice, practice. The real trick is to get the “moves” embedded into your sub-conscious mind. And the ONLY way of doing that, is to practice the moves over and over until they become like second nature.
You can compare it somewhat to learning how to ride a bike – at first it’s really hard to find your balance and it feels like you have a million things to think about. But as you get on your bike more and more, you start getting the hang of it, and before you know it, you can hop on your bike for a ride and not even think about how it all works. You just do it cos it has gone into your sub-conscious mind!
It’s exactly the same with these magic tricks and moves – just practice heaps and at some point it will all come naturally to you without you even thinking about it!

well this is definitely the best tutorial I have saw on this, and it helped a lot.
But I still have trouble when I am pushing the cards up, and I have half the deck held in one and and the other deck pushed over in the shape of a triangle, I can’t let the cards fall, and set the others on top.
So I have the cards touching at the top like this ////\\\\ (cards on both sides)
and my thumb is holding them, but when I let go of my thumb, the cards on the left fall. (I am right handed)
no worries.
Just make sure you watch my finger placement and watch over the video.
Don’t worry you’ll get it.
