They are really funky and cool to wear and it definitely looked good :)

You will look at this and go, ‘Really is that it?’

While this looks simple and easy…if performed right, being friendly, playful and mixing in a few gags you can really make this trick a fun and entertaining piece of magic aka theatre. :)

It will take you a few minutes to get the moves down, but once you’re done, go try it on some people and let me know how it goes for you?

Before today, I seriously did not realize how easy it can be to fool people with just a simple rubber band.

That’s right, I’m not even talking here about a “magical” rubber band. Just one very ordinary rubber band that you can get from anywhere. And that’s what makes this trick so cool.

Have you ever wanted to make stuff levitate?

Today’s trick won’t fool the millions but it will still get people going… “Huh?”… for at least a few seconds. It’s a nice trick to perform at a party, but probably not appropriate if you want to be like Chris Angel of David Copperfield ;)

Extra Tips For Rounding Off This Trick

  • Use the gag of the water disappearing to stick your thumb in the cup.
  • Do the trick while you are just drinking something. Perform it like your thinking of it spontaneously!
  • Once again, just because it is easy, it doesn’t mean the trick is not magical!
  • Create some emotion to your audience with what you are saying.
  • Make sure to have fun with this trick… I know I do!
