Its good trick Jay, but many of my family can see that I actually forced a card on them. They could see the shuffle was only taking off top cards.

Hello Jay Jay & Magical ‘G,’
I have used the ‘Hindu’ force for years !! The ONLY difference that I do, is that, when they have said, “STOP” I hold the bottom packet of cards OVER the NOW, bottom packet. & PAUSE for a couple of seconds, It makes them believe that THEIR selected card came from the CENTER of the DECK, which it did NOT, Heheheheee !! I work ‘little-peoples’ birthday parties & use the ‘Old Maid’ deck or anyone that a ‘little-people’ could easily remember !!

Hey Jay, your site is amazing. This trick is so easy to do, and you can do it totally unscripted and make up some stupid story to go along with it. I’ve just recently gotten back into doing magic after I visited Vegas and saw a guy performing the floating card/coin/etc (UFO). I learned it and was amazed at the reactions I got from such a simple trick. From that, I went onto youtube, and then eventually stumbled onto here.

U have to love the hindo shuffle. Proving once again the simplest techniques can be the best. I almost forgot that force. Thanks JJ for reminding. If u r going to do multiple card tricks it is best to know as many different forces as possible.

I use the Hindu Force with the Magician’s Insurance Policy. The force is easy but it mystifies my volunteers completely. I think the Hindu Force is one of the best forces. I would like to see you show us other forces, because using the same force over and over can start arousing suspicion from your spectators! Thanks again.

Enough with the bottom card force already! Show us the real mentalism mind blowing stuff like,.. Having someone turn to any page in any book, memorize the first word on that page, then reveal that word on a slip of paper in a sealed envelope put there prior to the performance! ! Now that’s metalism!

There are so many ways to force a card or mark a card in the deck you could talk for years about it! Show them the bending (arching) of a card. I find this to be the easiest way to take note of the card that lies directly on top of the selected card. I’m sure you know this technique. There are also many great ways to “stack the deck” where it appears normal to anyone looking at it! These little glides and slides you show are getting old! Let’s move on. There is so much magic using cards you could take a lifetime teaching all the tricks!
I commend you for catering to the younger crowd. You do a nice job of doing that and that is something that has to be done! However, I am 50 years old. Could we do something a bit more advanced just once a month for people like me? It would be greatly appreciated!

G-Day Jay Jay, And yes it’s a very cool trick. Like you say, The less you say the better. It’s really good because it is so simple, but looks to be otherwise.
Also I very much liked your coin in the pocket trick and even gave it a good work out at a booking I had at Tugan last Saturday. I start the trick off by faceing the person square on, Face to Face. I then say.. Dont move… Then I move forward and pull the coin out from under their chin. It cannot be seen in my hand as it’s between my first finger and thumb. I then complete the trick.

Hey thought I’d reply, I’m still practicing magic, 10 months on, I’ve improoved alot more – also took up hypnotising, and trying to conbine both card magic and hypnotising into one. I have to say, it’s a fun experience! lol, I hypnotised my Fianc’e to believe her friend was invisible, infact, not even there. and I told her I was gonna make a card I was holding float up, and land in her hand, really her friend was just picking it up and putting it in hers, LOL!!!
