Hey everyone
Magical G here – the guy behind the camera…
Jay Jay and I recorded this video in the foyer of the building that I live in. I was not quite sure what to expect this time from Jay Jay, but when he showed me the trick, I first thought that he had some special prop or something to make him do the trick – cos the effect looked SO cool!
But as you will see when you watch the video, there are no special magical props with this classic coin trick. All you need are some real coins… and… well… some pants!
Watch closely how Jay Jay creates distraction with where he places his attention, and you’ll learn a few interesting things – he caught me out the first time, but then he showed me how it works – pretty cool!

That is a pretty sweet trick.I have never really used the fake grab before. I usually do the French Drop but the fake grab looks pretty sweet too. You have probably heard of it. You should check out my blog sometime. Working on making a How to site for street magic.

hey man i love your magic i did this to my mom and she thought it was so cool. but the one thing i have not been seeing lately is levitations can you put up some videos of some levitation tricks?

jayjay showed one a while back that is pretty good – get people to stand behind you at an angle and then lift up on one foot and then come down after like a second- i like to act exhausted after and say i cant do it again makes a good impact

great trick, as always. I saw a cool trick the other day that I would love to learn. The magician took a card, tore it into 4 pieces, placed it into his hand and when he opened the hand the card was whole again. Could you teach us this one sometime? Thanks.

hi jay…i know how to do a coin bend trick….but i wanna know how u can atcually bend a coin previously very smooth until there is no trace that u hammered it before this…i try it by hammering the coin but it is not smooth..can u tell me how???

Hey jay jay can you teach us the trick when you ask the people to select a card and then you get a napkin and pour some water into the napkin and wala! The card number would appear on the napkin.

Thanks again Jay Jay. When I first started to learn magic I was learning out of varies magic books. I remember trying to learn that one, and I could never quite understand. Your videos help a lot. Some say the book is always better than the movie(or video), well not when learning magic.

I really like this trick
I really like this trick. Once I practice it a bit more it’s one I’ll use for sure. I only have two problems with this one. By doing the gag to start with I would have thought that would show the audience straight away that you’re using slight of hand and make it too obvious to what you do straight afterwards.
Also, do you have any tips on not making the coins clink together when you do the last part of the trick? It’s a problem that I have with other tricks and I can see it being problematic here too.

That was cool! How detailed do you get in picking two coins? Like, I know you want them to be the same, but, I mean, do you go through the effort of making sure that one is as shiny as another, that they are minted in the same location, so on? Just curious, since the spectator is looking at the coin to ensure its authenticity…just curious if that was even a concern or not. thanks Jay jay…you rock, man.

i have to job well done ive always been a big fan of coin tricks especially the non gimmicked ones i focus on the card and coin tricks and that has made me a pretty darn good trickster at school as well as on the street thanks alot for this trick and ill be sure to learn it ^^
