Jay Jay and I recorded the above video while prancing the streets of downtown Brisbane here in Australia.
Tell you what…
That Jay Jay boy is something else. Now I’ve always been interested in magic, but the level at which Jay Jay performs his magic just blows my mind.
Inside today’s video, Jay Jay once again manages to totally baffle a couple of beautiful ladies.
And you know what the funny part is?
This has got to be one of the easiest tricks to prepare for and perform.
But once again, as I keep watching Jay Jay perform, I realize that the actual trick is only like 10% of the overall performance. It’s what happens “around” the trick that really seems to matter.
So, in today’s video, take special note of everything else that Jay Jay does, apart from the actual trick.
And also watch how he gives his audience (the two beautiful girls in this case) time to respond to his illusion.
Extra Tips For Rounding This Magic Trick Off
- Let your audience shuffle the deck before you start.
- Jay Jay always likes making the indicator card a 7 or 8 as people will notice and see the illusion better.
- You can either let them cut the cards in your hand or you can cut the deck yourself. However, do not let them shuffle the cards. This will kind of screw up your whole trick!
- Finally, practice until you know this trick blindfolded… or in the dark! Even though it’s a simple one, the more you practice, the smoother it will become, and the more convincing it will look.

Not the best “how to do” video, but you can learn the trick!
(I use the jokers, because you have 2 jokers in one deck, and the ace of spades,because its my favourite card:) )
I think it involves the double lift
if you know what i mean

it is very simple trick this guy like to fool every body but he never can fool me so trick is done by 2 same cards for e.g.(you have 2 ten of hearts ok so put one 10 of heart on top and other on 3rd position.it is set up..
now you do double lift… ok
it shows random card and flip it back and put the card on there hand..
then you again do double lift and so them 10 of hearts and take the random card you shown…
than do wave or something like that and trick is over…….

Nice trick lol. I have found when doing tricks that almost all tricks have another trick that is similar and this is no exception. Heyy everyone,
I have one tip for preforming this trick that gets way more audience reaction. When you show the first card make a big deal about, but not to big of dealand then i say” What if this is a sign and its telling us that your card is 6 cards down” (just an example) then once you get to there card say ” Wouldnt it be pretty cool that if i turn the next card overand its your card” slowly turn over the card and let the audience freak out just a little suggestion. This works better for me when if doing this cause it works them up for thebig surprize!

just one question magical G, your first tip says let them shuffle, your 3rd tip says let them cut but dont let them shuffle. Which is it? or should we do the set up while our back is turned to the spectator.

Sorry this is a bit confusing….
You should let them shuffle at the beginning so they know its a real deck and no set-up.
Then after that only let them cut…..

Typically I let them shuffle, then when they take a card I quickly set-up the deck…while my back is turned.

1. Do not let them shuffle and have the deck set-up already.
2. Or walk away from the group as they show their card to everyone.

How can this be possible ? I’ve tried it out, if the audience shuffle the deck before you start, your set-up will be screwed. Or did you mean before shuffle the deck before the set-up ?

pretty cool trick it’s easy but nobody would know how to do that
A card trick I am really interested in is one Chris Angle preformed. He had I think 16 cards 4 aces and 12 others. There were 4 stacks 4 in each. In 1 of the stacks all the cards were face down. In the others the aces were face up but the rest still face down. He picked up one at a time all the stacks excluding the one that was all face down. Rotated them backwards out of view then forward. The ace dissapeared. Then at the end all the aces were in the last stack.

BOOM in their hands.

hey jay jay saw the card trick that was really cool i cant wait to learn it and to start performing it. but i had a couple of questions one is when you perform the dancing aces that i saw and it cam out of your mouth how did you do that? and the trick you also showed up making a card disappear and reappear from your hand how do you do from both sides telling them i don’t on either side of my hand and suddenly make it appear if that makes any sense lol.

no offence but your magic is quite simple and pathetic. I seen people performing such tricks before and i do not get freak out by these useless tricks. I have no idea why they say your tricks are amazing, but in my opinion, your tricks are for amateurs only(no offence). If you were to ask me, I suggest you go take more classes otherwise you should quit being a magician.

[..YouTube..] CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME: so my friend does this trick where he has 2 decks of cards and asks me to pick one and shuffle. They aren’t in a specific orde I think. He then tells me to shuffle and he shuffles his deck. Then he picks a card from his deck. I cut my deck into his hands and he marks where I cut. then he takes the top card from the marked place and shows it to me. then he shows both cards to me. SOmehow we have the same card!!! how does he do it?

Hey Jay Jay, what I find funny about this trick is that it’s just a combination of two tricks that I already know how to do, one that you taught me…. yet you can perform this trick, both tricks it comes from, and you get the same ammount of WOW!
Anyways, I have a trick to amplify all of your pick-a-card tricks. You can amplify them by two or three times… depending on the application of the trick. It also allows you to use common every day tricks in a fresh new look.
