hey! this is luke you rock your magic trick freaked out some of my audience ilove magic. the most magic trick im intrested in is the the hummingbird the hummingbird is you use levitation and spin the card and you move your hands and wherever you move your hands the card moves its freaky!! but i dont know the setup or how to the magic trick anyways you rock!! see ya!!

It’s a classic. I prefer the paper match and licking the back of your thumb instead. No set up and the spectator can examine the match if you decide to make it reappear. Thanks for all the demonstrations. Even the tricks I already know I appreciate learning new techniques to do them.

Neat effect. I used to do the same years ago while bartending with a borrowed cigarette and a wet thumb. Simply lick your thumbnail during the misdirection of borrowing a cigarette. The mechanics are the same after that.

thanx that trick was great, but what do you do when they ask you to show your hands?
i was wondering how to do a trick i saw someone do, the effect is: they shuffell the deck, then they shuffell through the deck and you tell them when to stop, when they stop they show you the card they are at, that is your card, then they square up the deck and let you shuffell it, then they lay it out in groups of 4, you pick a group and the rest go, then they split it into 2 groups of 2, you pick one, the other goes then two groups of 1 and the one you pick is your card.
I might of picked it up from watching but im not sure, but my way does actually work on all my friends. I shuffell through, show them there card then flip theres over as i square the deck back up, but this means i cant let them shuffell. then i lay out the groups of four, and remember were it is, if they pick the one its in in i get rid of the other one as if they have picked to keep that one, if they pick another i get rid of it as if they have picked to get rid of it, because all they know is you asked them to pick a card. And i do the same again till i get to there card.
Thanx i really want to know how to do it properly because it already works so well on my friends, they are all shocked when i do it.
